Friends - Limited Edition of 100 prints

There is something about this image of three gray wolves in Yellowstone that touches people. For some, it is older wolf being cared for by the younger wolves; to others it is the expressions of the animals. I see something else each time I study this image. Although shot in a preserve, I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when the image presented itself. This photograph was a finalist in the 2005 Cowboys & Indians magazine photo contest

This gray (tundra) wolf appeared to be waiting for little red riding hood to come along. He leaped out of the bushes right after I got this shot, but the images of his jump did not compare to the majesty of his pose here.
