Sheep Drive - Limited Edition of 100 prints
Monument Valley belongs to the Navajos. This image captures a traditional sheep drive in the middle of Monument Valley. The blue of the sky in the arch — contrasted with the red of the rock and the sheep, horses, and dogs — make this one of my favorite Monument Valley images.

It was the end of a long but fruitful day of photography in Monument Valley. There was a full moon and my plan was to get the picture just as the moon rose through the columns of the Totems. However, there was some cloud cover behind the Totems blocking the view of the moon. Just after its rising through the columns, the haze of the night resulted in a more ethereal image

Clouds and rain can either make or break a trip to Hunts Mesa. Today we were lucky and rain saturated the beautiful colors of Monument Valley below the mesa and the storm clouds provided a beautiful background.
