The glow in Mesa Arch at sunrise is one of the wonders of Canyonlands. My friends and I got to Mesa Arch early. By the time the sun rose, there were 20 people with tripods and cameras jockeying for space in front of the arch. We all made room for each other and came away with some great images. This is one place where the photography, while spectacular, is not matched by the experience of watching the arch come to life. It must be experienced in person.
