During the fall in upper Antelope Canyon, the sun passes over unseen holes in the rocks at the top of the canyon creating beams of light for about 20 minutes each morning. These light beams create wonderful contrasts and, together with the warmth of the filtered light on the canyon walls, result in beautiful images.
