The phenomenon of the rocks crossing this dry lake bed is interesting in itself. However, this crossing of various paths was the best.

Zabriskie Point is a favorite spot for photographers. I was trying to capture the glow in the sand at the bottom of the valley in this as the sun rose above the horizon, but had not yet lit up the peaks of Zabriskie.

THe Racetrack at Death Valley is a fascinating place. Rocks of all sizes, come down from the surrounding hills and make tracks across this dry lakebed. Noone seems to know how they do it, but it is an interesting experience (and a long drive)to see them.
