The softness and mystery created by the fog made this an attractive image to me. One wonders what lays beyond. Unfortunately, I cannot add the sound and smell of the ocean to complete the experience of being there.

This barn is part of a set of a long ago abandoned barn along the Mendocino Coast. What attracted me to this image was the texture, the moss on the roof, the patterns in the siding, all softened by the fog and the shadow of the tree in the background.

The waves off the Mendocino Coast can be frightening and beautiful. I photographed this roller, with its wonderful aquamarine color, just of the cliffs at Little River.

Ceremonial Dancers-3 - Limited Edition of 100 prints

These 3 images are from the Stanford Pow-wow, held every spring. I had planned to use my tripod to get some crytal sharp images of the costumed dancers, but the number of people and poor lighting made that impossible. Instead, I panned on the dancers passing by and found that the imagery was much more intersting showing the motion and color of the dances.

Afternoon Ride - Limited Edition of 100 prints

This picture was shot near Morro Bay late in the afternoon. The riders were coming toward me with the stormy sky in the background and the sun on the breaking surf. I like the serene feeling from the riders, contrasted with the power of the silvery sea.
