Bryce Amphitheater - Limited Edition of 100 prints
After several days of sunny skies, my winter arrival at Bryce was greeted by a change in the weather. I was able to make a trip around the canyon rim the day I arrived; but that was it as two days of heavy blizzard followed. I like the contrast between the reds and oranges of the hoodoos and pure white of the snow

Bryce in Winter (B&W) - Limited Edition of 100 prints
I normally shoot in color, but this landscape, shot during a winter hike in Bryce, seemed to become more interesting as a black and white image.
Bryce Winter Sunset - Limited Edition of 100 prints
As the sun peaked through a break in the clouds, it lit up the high mesa in the background and emphasized the saturated colors of the hoodoos covered in snow.
Capitol Reef - Limited Edition of 100 prints
This national park is a little out of the way, but well worth a visit. The views as you drive through are spectacular. It is a very goo dplace for hiking as well.
Double Rainbow - Limited Edition of 100 prints
I was on my way to Zion National Park with my friend Jeff Johnson and we spotted this double rainbow after a brief rain storm. We pulled off the road and grabbed our cameras. A minute later and the rainbows were gone.
Emerald Pools - Limited Edition of 100 prints
I climbed up to the upper Emerald Pools — there was not much water in the lower pools — and found a wonderful spot with the falls tracing a ribbon down the canyon walls creating a pond that radiated strong color as it flowed down the canyon. I used a slow setting to catch the movement of the water as it cascaded down the wall.

It all depends which direction you come from as to whether this is an entrance or exit, nonetheless looking up at the trees, the red rock and sky was imposing.
Faces in the Stone - Limited Edition of 100 prints
I took this shot on a hike in Zion just outside the tunnel. As I turned the corner and looked back toward the park, these rock formations reminded me of the large stone figures on Easter Island, but in red. I was delighted when the photo itself confirmed my perceptions at the time I clicked the shutter.

Zion Bridge at Sunrise - Limited Edition of 100 prints
I was hoping for a rich colorful morning sky as I got up early to catch the sunrise. The subtle colors and textures of the image of the bridge across the Virgin River with the contrast from the trees portrayed the peaceful feeling of the start of the new day.
