Colorful Quilt - Limited Edition of 100 prints
The La Sal loop winds through the valley outside of Moab, then up through the La Sal mountains. As we drove on the ridge of the valley, the oaks were at the peak of their fall color, creating quilt-like view of the valley floor.

Delicate Arch - Limited Edition of 100 prints
Delicate Arch is one of the classic formations in Arches National Park. The 1.5 mile hike up to the arch is well worth it, expecially early in the morning or late afternoon when it is not too crowded.
Sunset at F-8 Point - Limited Edition of 100 prints
F-8 Point is not a location you will find on the map in Canyonlands. It probably has another name, but I could not find it an any map. It is a beautiful place both for sunrise and sunset, but is a very serious 4-wheel drive journey. The foreground of the white rocks made a stunning contrast to the canyon and sky.
Fisher Towers - Limited Edition of 100 prints
The snow-capped La Sal peaks appear relatively close as a result of the effect of the telephoto lens in this view of the Fisher Towers at sunset.
Fisher Towers Reflection - Limited Edition of 100 prints
Fisher Towers, with the snow-capped La Sal mountains as the backdrop, is a wonderful sunset location. The Colorado River winds through this valley creating a soft, but color saturated scene.
Balanced Rock at Dawn - Limited Edition of 100 prints
The sun was still well below the horizon when I arrived at Balanced Rock in Arches National Park. I have always enjoyed silhouettes, and after a few minutes, there was enough color and light in the early morning sky to capture this image of Balanced Rock.
Fall Color in Devil's Garden - Limited Edition of 100 prints
My wife and I were hiking the trail in Devil’s Garden leading to Landscape Arch in Arches National Park. She pointed out to me some beautiful rust colored foliage against the rock. I took a few shots, then noticed a wonderful dead tree in a small gulley, which I used to frame the foliage. Although not a classic image in Arches National Park, it is the one that hangs on my wall.
Burning Tree - Limited Edition of 100 prints
Deadhorse Point is a great spot for both sunrise and sunset. The vistas of Canyonlands and the Goosenecks of the Colorado are favorite photographic subjects. The clouds blocked the sun from turning the Goosenecks red. However, as the sun rose I turned around and noticed the rocks behind me and the tree trunk glowing with a pinkish hue. I shot quickly as the glow faded moments later.
Goosenecks of the Colorado - Limited Edition of 100 prints
Canyonlands National Park, although a virtual next door neighbor to Arches National Park, presents very different photographic opportunities. Vistas from on high are the norm in Canyonlands, in contrast to more close-up images at Arches. The mountains were glowing as the sun lifted over the horizon during this fall morning as I looked down on the Goosenecks of the Colorado River. The layers of the mountains and the flow of the river make this a magical place.
Sunrise Through North Tower Window Arch - Limited Edition of 100 prints
This is a much photographed view of Turrette’s Arch through the North Window Arch at sunrise in Arches National Park. There is good reason for the location’s popularity. The soft light of the sunrise through the rich red and orange rocks of Arches and the almost mystical colors in the clouds made this one of my favorite images.
